PRP Rejuvenation

Info

This is an injection that is derived from your own blood. Platelet-rich plasma is the product of the centrifugation of your blood. Once centrifuged, the components of your blood are separated and the concentrated plasma and platelets are collected in a syringe for the purpose of injecting them to you

Platelet-rich plasma (also known as “PRP” and “Vampire Lift”) is a mesotherapy treatment. Mesotherapy is a medical anti-aging process developed in 1952, which consists of multiple very superficial injections in the epidermis. Platelets, when injected, release growth factors and stem cells, substances that produce tissue regeneration and allow the healing of damaged tissues. PRP is one of the most efficient treatments for tissue regeneration.

-Plasma rich in platelets can treat deep wrinkles, dilated pores, acne or other scars, dark circles and stretch marks.

-It is also used to stimulate hair regrowth when carried out on the scalp.

-It is also possible to treat the neck, neckline and hands with this technique.

-Platelet-rich plasma does not create any injury requiring healing, making it a very discreet treatment.

Treatable areas

This treatment offers several treatable areas
Passing through several regions of the face,
among the most frequent
we find in particular:

  • The top of the face
  • Rx for tear trough
  • The full face
  • The lower face
  • The neck and the neckline
  • Hair restoration
  • RX for acne scars/stretch marks

Read the story

There are huge variations in what is being called PRP from one practice to the next, due to the differences in commercially available systems on the market.

And this may be one of the reasons you’ve heard someone say PRP didn’t work for them.

No, not all PRP are systems are the same. PRP is processed using either a single-spin or dual-spin centrifugation protocol. The difference between a single-spin and dual-spin system comes down to the mechanism of separation.

Dual-spin systems process PRP by first suspending the plasma and the platelets during an initial “soft spin”. When this suspension is spun again to create the buffy coat, in a separate concentrating device, the platelets have nowhere to fall but to the bottom of that concentrating device. This allows dual-spin systems to maximize platelet recovery.

Single-spin systems process PRP by spinning at high speeds for an extended period of time causing the whole blood to separate into three layers: the plasma, the buffy coat, and the RBC’s. As the platelets are falling to create the buffy coat, many fall too far and get trapped in the RBC layer minimizing the final platelet concentration.

THE INTEGRATIVEPRP DIFFERENCE

Our equipment and protocols provide the highest yields of any PRP concentration system with platelet recoveries of over 80% – far higher than earlier generation single spin PRP systems and better results

Takeaway message

-Platelet-rich plasma stimulates hair growth and strength, prolongs the survival of existing hair, allows the natural development of new roots, increases scalp vascularity and improves hair vitality, color and radiance.

-Plasma rich in platelets can treat deep wrinkles, dilated pores, acne or other scars, dark circles and stretch marks. It is also possible to treat the neck, neckline and hands with this technique.

-Platelet-rich plasma does not create any injury requiring healing, making it a very discreet treatment.
